Statement of Faith
Faith Community Centre Church
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God. It is the ultimate guide for faith, life, and conduct, and is sufficient for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness.
God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is all-powerful, all-knowing, and ever-present, sovereign over all creation and history.
Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death on the cross, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, and His promised return in power and glory. Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation and the source of eternal life.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, bringing conviction of sin, guiding into truth, empowering for godly living, and equipping for service. We affirm the present-day ministry of the Spirit, including spiritual gifts, for the building up of the church.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Repentance from sin and personal trust in Christ’s finished work on the cross are necessary for forgiveness and reconciliation with God.
The Church
We believe the church is the Body of Christ, called to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, disciple believers, and serve the world. Faith Community Centre exists to fulfil this calling by fostering prayer, fellowship, discipleship, and mission, locally and nationally.
The Great Commission
We believe in fulfilling the Great Commission by making disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey Christ’s commands, and equipping them to impact their families, communities, cities, and nations for the Kingdom of God.
Prayer and Worship
We believe in the power of prayer and Spirit-led worship as central to the life of the church. FCC is committed to continuous prayer through initiatives like Prayer 365, weekly fasting prayers, and special intercessory gatherings, believing that prayer changes lives, communities, and nations.
Christian Living
We believe every believer is called to live a holy and ethical life, reflecting Christ’s character in word, deed, and service, demonstrating compassion, integrity, and love to all people, especially the less privileged.
